Tree campaign in Scotland

"People and trees" is the theme of the Bright Sparks Awards Scheme, a new environmental initiative for Scottish schools organised by WWF Scotland and sponsored by Hydro-Electric. Project entries are invited in two age groups

- Primary 1 to 6 and Primary 7 to Secondary 2. Winning schools will receive certificates and cash and equipment prizes. Closing date for registration is June 30, and teachers should submit a sample of pupils' project work by November 29.
