Two-year ban for abusive teacher

A teacher who threw a pen at a child and asked another, "Do you want to make babies?" has been banned for two years by the General Teaching Council for England. Frank de Groot, who taught at Rainham Mark Grammar School in Gillingham, Kent, used swear words in front of his class and gave children details of a confidential meeting involving another pupil.
