26-strong UK team for WorldSkills headed off on the "skills Olympics" medal trail

The 26-strong UK team for WorldSkills, which includes 10 students from colleges, headed off on the "skills Olympics" medal trail in Calgary this week. Simon Bartley, chief executive of UK Skills, which manages the team competing in all manner of specialisations from web design to joinery, said: "They are ready to take on the best young skilled people in the world."
