Members of NATFHE, the largest lecturers' union, will have their own 24-hour helpline from next week for those who require counselling or help for stress, whether caused by work or issues relating to family, domestic life, drugs or other causes of trauma. National Health Service-trained nurses will be on call 365 days a year on 0990 234534 (calls at standard rate).
