An Enterprise in Schools magazine has been launched by the Determined to Succeed team and pupils in East Dunbartonshire.

The magazine showcases some of the best examples of enterprise education work by pupils and teachers over the past three years, supported by the authority's DtS team, based at the Enterprising Teaching and Learning Centre in Twechar Primary.

Una Walker, convener of the education and cultural services committee, said: "Schools in East Dunbartonshire have made tremendous progress since the launch of DtS in 2003 and have established themselves at the forefront of enterprise education nationally. Our unique approach to supporting enterprise education from the centre has been highlighted in the Scottish Executive's recent report Determined to Succeed, three years.
