'Unwarranted intrusion'

Independent schools have warned MSPs looking into the regulation of care against over-inspection and "unwarranted intrusion" into boarding accommodation. Some 3,800 idependent pupils stay in residences and are already subject to care and welfare spot inspections by hmi, the Scottish Council of Independent Schools says.
