Torry Academy in Aberdeen has won the charity Giving Nation's top UK award for their charity and campaigning work. Students won the award after keeping an online team diary giving examples of their charitable work throughout the school. The group raised more than pound;5,500 this year alone, but it was the range of activities, charities supported and their commitment to campaigning that impressed the judges.
