Vatican vitriol

3rd September 2010 at 01:00

I read with interest the article from Italy by Michael Fitzpatrick, "Cross about the cross" (August 27), but I consider it to be a thinly veiled attack on the Vatican. I was most concerned with his phrase the "Jesus Christ fable". The life of Jesus of Nazareth is not a work of fiction, as Mr Fitzpatrick would suggest.
