Victoria Academy now open for adults

(Photograph) - Going it alone: a school, set up in a semi-detached house in south Leeds by parents who took their children out of the local education system, is now opening its doors to dults. Victoria Academy uses an American curriculum with its 17 pupils working in cubicle "offices". Six adults will attend the first pilot project. Photograph: LORNE CAMPBELL
