Villagers raise protest funds

Villagers in Cilfrew, near Neath, have raised pound;4,000 towards a judicial review of plans to build a gas pressure reduction plant on their doorstep (TES Cymru, September 22). They say pupils at Cilffriw primary will be at risk from heavy traffic during construction and the plant itself presents a safety hazard. Head Ceinwen Williams said the children's safety was paramount.
