Learning and skills councils, the people who dole out money for post-16 training, are currently conducting grant audits across the country, causing much finger biting by providers. The name of these audits? Strategic Area Reviews or SARs for short. Any similarity to the deadly virus of that name currently sweeping the world is, we hope, purely coincidental.
