Vocal workshops

The Centre for Performance Research is holding its third international symposium in the series "Giving Voice" at the Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff, April 1-9. Entitled "A geography of the voice", it will explore vocal techniques from around the world and the inner geography of the body and voice.

Workshops include: overtone singing and harmonics; exploring the cultural roots of the voice for children; the storyteller's voice; and accent, dialect and the environment. There will be several performances across Cardiff culminating in a singing supper. Details from CPR. Tel: 01222 345174.
