Voting made fun

16th March 2007 at 00:00
Get interactive with a Qwizdom hand-held voting system and software - a fun way to assess pupils' knowledge, through tests, quizzes and games - worth Pounds 3,000.

Qwizdom has teamed up with The TES Magazine to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a complete classroom kit. The system, featured on page 54, includes 34 of the latest Q4 voting handsets, a choice of software, and an Actionpoint plug-in, enabling teachers to create their own PowerPoint presentations.

The winner can choose from a wide range of Qwizdom quizzes linked to the curriculum. Key stage 2 subjects on offer include maths, science, history, RE and literacy. KS3 subjects include maths, physics, biology, chemistry, geography, history, ICT, French and citizenship.

The Q4 uses two-way radio frequency technology, allowing it to be used almost anywhere. Each unit features a unique ID that allows each pupil's progress to be monitored. Children can also use a button on the remote to request help discreetly, building confidence in less able pupils. For more information visit:

To be in with a chance of winning, send a postcard to Treats, The TES Magazine, Admiral House, 66-68 East Smithfield, London E1W 1BX, marking your entry Qwizdom. Or email, putting Qwizdom in the subject box. The first entry picked will be the winner. By sending us your name and address you agree to The TES Magazine sending you this prize.
