VSO calling

19th September 2003 at 01:00
Voluntary Service Overseas, the international development charity, is launching a recruitment drive for experienced special needs teachers to work across the developing world. This follows a 40 per cent fall in volunteers in the past 18 months. Should this trend continue, up to a third of VSO's placements will remain unfilled in the coming year, leaving many of the poorest comunities without the help they need. Experience is vital to carry out these placements and VSO welcomes applications from qualified teachers with SEN experience from all age groups.Contact VSO on 020 8780 7500 or see the website: www.vso.org.uk .
