Waste not...

2nd December 2005 at 00:00
Waste Aware Dunbartonshire and West Dunbartonshire Council have teamed up to launch an interactive DVD and text information line encouraging children to reduce waste and litter.

The New Adventures of Binman, aimed at upper primary and lower secondary pupils, features a cartoon eco-champion, Binman, and his grime-fighting colleagues Binboy and two local children, the Litterbugs.

Binman educates the two children about how and why it is so important to deal with waste sensibly.

The text information line gives information on recycling facilities based on postcodes.
