Watch out it's the Word Police

9th March 2001 at 00:00
This is a test to join the Word Police. Devised by one of the senior editors at Atlantic Monthly, it is an unusual and very challenging way of doing some revision before examinations. You'll need to know how to rcognise a subject (or object), split an infinitive or use an apostrophe accurately. Try it on yourself first to see if you would be accepted as an officer.
