Southern Water Services has worked with local business studies and science teachers to produce The Sandwich Bay Scheme, which comprises two key stage 4 and GNVQ packs. Focusing on the Sandwich Bay Wastewater Treatment Scheme, which forms part of Operation Seaclean, the packs contain graphs, maps, photographs and data, which students use to complete activities involving planning, design and construction of the scheme; investment appraisal, costing, finance and cashflow; and the role of marketing and public relations.
