Anglia in Bloom is an annual competition to find towns and villages in the region that use flowers and shrubs as a central theme in caring for their environment.

With Anglian Water, they have launched a competition for schools and businesses, inviting suggestions for new ways of collecting rain and house waste water to use on the garden. The winning school and business will each win Pounds 1,000 cash. Closing date: August 1. Details: Glynis Hammond, Anglian Water, Anglian House, Ambury Road, Road, Huntingdon PE18 6NZ.
