* An interactive tour of the inner workings of the ear is among the activities to be found at a new Web site funded by the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council. Aiming to bring the world of particle physics to everyone from schoolchildren and teachers to industrialists, the site features a picture of the week, news, and links to other Web sites. http:hepweb.rl.ac.ukppUK

* Science across the world, a programme run by the Association for Science Education, has remade its Web site. It includes discussion forums and video clips in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and is used by around 1,200 schools worldwide. http:www.bp.comsaw
