* The Countryside Alliance, organisers of the Countryside March at Hyde Park last summer, regards its site at http:www.countryside-alliance.org as a "useful resource for teachers and students". It includes information about rural issues with links to related sites.

* The Conservation Foundation's Web site at www.newsnet-21.org.uk features environmental reportage and analysis by Alex Kirby, former environmental correspondent for BBC radio and television, with listings of more than 500 events throughout the UK and worldwide. It also provides links to other environmental sites.
