Welsh colleges merge

Merger for Deeside College and Welsh College of Horticulture

Deeside College has merged with the Welsh College of Horticulture after the move won approval from the Welsh Assembly Government. The new institution will be one of the largest in Wales, with a student body of almost 20,000, more than 800 staff and an annual income of nearly pound;30 million.
