Accepted. Ice cream and frozen dairy: choc ices, servings of ice cream.

Bread products: bagels; croissants; crumpets; English muffins; malt loaf; teacakes, pitta breads; breadsticks; sandwiches; rolls.

Biscuits and cakes (only as part of lunch): biscuits, cookies and cakes made by school caterers; American muffins; ginger nuts, digestives; oatcakes, cream crackers; cake bars; iced buns, doughnuts.

Yoghurt: Fruit yoghurts; fromage frais; Greek yoghurt, thick and creamy yoghurt; custard-style yoghurts; frozen yoghurt.

Snacks: unsalted nuts; dried fruit; peanut and raisin mixes; unsaltedunsweetened popcorn.

Banned. Non-chocolate confectionery: chewing gum; liquorice sweets; mints; fruit pastilles; wine gums; fruit drops; marshmallows; toffees; cereal bars; compressed fruit bars.

Chocolate products: milk chocolate, plain chocolate, white chocolate; chocolate eggs; chocolate-coated confectionery bars and biscuits.

Pre-packaged savoury snacks: crisps; onion rings; tortilla chips; Japanese rice crackers; salted nuts; Bombay mix (low fat and low salt savoury snacks allowed in vending machines and meals other than lunch).
