What's new: resources

7th January 2000 at 00:00
We are supposed to be a nation of animal lovers, but the RSPCA clearly believes there is considerable room for improvement. Its officers are keen to visit schools to educate young people about the importance of looking after animals correctly, and it publishes several guides with the same intention. The latest, Animals in Mind, is a thoroughpack with lots of suggestions for classwork and projects using animal welfare as a starting point. Although it is quite severely message-led in places, the suggestions for drama and role-playing could be entertaining and engaging - and it's free.
