What's so funny about peace?

17th December 2004 at 00:00
I read the Nativity poster (TES, Teacher, December 3) with surprise. Yes, I know it is meant to be funny, but a song that includes the lines "The teachers will start to argue andThe head will referee" does not promote values in education. If we give the impression the staff are at loggerheads at Christmas, what hope is there for creating peace and understanding among pupils?
