(Photograph) - Wheels of industry: pupils from Moor Allerton Hall primary in Leeds attended a drama workshop at the Yorkshire Mining Museum last week. They performed a short piece based on the Featherstone massacre of 1893 when miners protesting against the closure of 250 pits were shot at by soldiers two died and many were injured.
