When is it too hot for sports day?

21st July 2006 at 01:00
Anna* : The forecast for my primary's sports day predicts a temperature of 33C. I don't think it is acceptable for children (and staff!) to be sat outside for two hours in such heat. What are your thoughts?

johan14: Wear a hat.

tickveegee: The forecast for ours is 90F. I think this is a serious issue.

Will be talking to union bods today.

existentialtyke : How namby pamby is the modern world! Wear a hat, take some sun cream and ensure drinks are available. Enjoy the weather!
