Where am I?

2nd August 1996 at 01:00
I am crossing one of the world's major rivers on a delicate suspension bridge. To get here, I have walked some eight miles down the Bright Angel Trail, dropping 4,500 feet, and enjoying some of the world's most famous and spectacular scenery. Five microclimates separate me from the tops of the nearest mountains, and towering above are intricate cliff formations in varying shades of reds, pinks, yellows and whites, which attract millions of tourists every year. Where am I?
