Who's the daddy

(Photograph) - Who's the daddy: Solihull college student Marie Corrall, 18, examines an expectant seahorse father at the National Sealife Centre In Birmingham.

Male seahorses have a pouch on their stomachs that can carry up to 2,000 babies. During mating, the females deposit their eggs in the pouch where they are fertilised. Marie got to grips with the mysteries of marine biology on a work placement at the centre, part of Solihull's animal-care course
