Wicked idea for award

Former children's laureate Michael Morpurgo will judge a new creative writing competition for young people sponsored by a West End musical. The Wicked Young Writers Award is backed by the show of the same name. The award is open to young people from the UK and Northern Ireland between the ages of five and 25. The four overall winners will bag family tickets to Wicked and a writing masterclass at their school. The two schools that encourage the most entries will also win some new books.
