Will governors meet the parents

4th April 2003 at 01:00
PROPOSALS to simplify the rules around governors' annual meetings with parents are going out to consultation this week. There will be no obligation on schools to hold the meetings if five or fewer parents respond to an invitation, or if a previous meeting votes not to have one.

Consultations close on June 20. See www.dfes.gov.ukconsultations
