Win Easter in Florence

16th January 2004 at 00:00
The British Institute of Florence is offering one lucky teacher the use of the Foresteria apartment in the Palazzo Lanfredini for a week beginning on April 3, plus a three-day intensive art course on one of the hidden marvels of Florence: the Cenacoli, or Last Suppers. The course, which usually costs (230 (pound;161), runs from April 6 to 8, and consists of four lectures and nine guided tours, leaving plenty of time to explore the city. Ryanair has kindly offered a free return flight from Stansted to Pisa, a short train ride away.

Readers should explain why they would like to go on the course in no more than 100 words and send or email it to Friday magazine (see page 3 for address), marking their entry Florence competition, by January 31. The winning entry will be picked by staff at the institute. Good luck.
