MPs are to hold an inquiry into women's employment. They will look at the skill levels of unemployed women and the barries they, particularly mothers, face to jobs and training. The MPs, members of the Education and Employment Select Committee, will also examine government supported training and employment programmes (including the New Deal); and by programmes supported by European Social Funds. Written submissions should be sent by March 27.
