Workload deal welcomed

7th March 2003 at 00:00
It is disappointing to see Jane Phillips of the National Association of Governors and Managers stating that governing bodies need not feel obliged to honour the workload agreement.

I visit many local groups of the National Bursars Association. I have found there to be a positive attitude to this agreement.

I am sure that the agreement is supported by most heads, and the governors I have met welcomed the initiative.
