Worth so little?

WELL it's nice to know that the Government has come up with yet another way of boosting the morale of teachers, particularly those who are only just about to qualify.

As an A-level student who will be beginning a primary BEd in September, it feels really good to know that because I actuall want to train on the four-year degree course, I will finish the course potentially pound;6,000 worse off than somebody taking a PGCE.

What has the person applying for a PGCE this year got that makes them worth pound;6,000 more than somebody such as myself?
