TEACHERS might be "flocking to cross the threshold" (TES, June 16) and who can blame them.
But the Department for Education and Employment is being disingenuous in claiming that "91 per cent of heads were satisfied with the training course".
The evaluation sheet failed to ask the right questions. Thy were all about how well an unwanted, demeaning and bureaucratic burden was being delivered. Where were the questions "Do you welcome this initiative? Do you be-lieve it will help raise standards?"
