York Minster of the medieval cycle of Mystery Plays

One spectacular millennial celebration was a performance at York Minster of the medieval cycle of Mystery Plays, re-enacting history from Creation through to the Passion (right) and the Last Judgment. A key stage 23 study pack is available for exploring the cycle in the classroom. The focus is on drama, English and RE, with excursionsinto design and environmental studies. There are many excellent practical ideas among the alliterative allurements.
