Your week ahead;Mind and body

Bridge Ennis offers 'TES' readers a unique forecast

The idealistic fire signs, Aries, Leo and Saggitarius, are concerned with inspired action. But each has been thwarted recently, with Aries unable to go far enough in partnership issues, Leo going too far and Saggitarius seeing others as the source of conflict.

A lovely aspect from this week's new moon to Mars gives Aries the impetus to reconsider and put things right. Leo sees the advantage in sharing and discovers love helps. And Saggitarius finally sees the big picture and starts negotiating.

The realistic earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, concern themselves with the practicalities of building for the future, a task which, after a weighty three months, Taurus can begin to enjoy again, as aspects of the new moon in Gemini reveal hidden resources. Meanwhile Virgo has examined every value and, in retaining only the essentials, sees clearly the way ahead. Capricorn has also been waiting for a breakthrough, and suddenly it's here, with everything coming at once, together with the energy to deal with it.

The air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, are fascinated by the exchange of ideas that give birth to new concepts. And Gemini has lately been trying to avoid the unavoidable with partners, while Libra has had no such choice. Aquarius has boundaries to mend. The new moon offers renewal to all three.

For Gemini it's a fresh start, with a new cycle of growth and opportunity. And for Libra, it's a chance to lead the way for once. Aquarius, surprisingly, finds the answer through love.

The intuitive water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, concern themselves with feelings, and have been challenged recently to reassess responses and the ways feelings are expressed, as pressure from all sides has mounted. Mercury now helps bring these inner reflections to the surface, enabling Cancer to articulate feelings in ways that command respect, and helping Scorpio find a loving way to solve a shared resource problem. Pisces concentrates on home improvements to reflect emotional needs.
