You've got to pick a topic or two...

9th February 2007 at 00:00
Natalie Sear, an early years specialist from West Sussex, has set up a business supplying topic boxes to reception and Year 1 classes. "Teachers often want to work on new topics but lack the funds to buy enough items to support it, so they end up doing the same topic every year and their enthusiasm dwindles. My topic boxes contain more than pound;350-worth of items and are economical for schools to hire."

Topics covered include: the seaside, farms and growing and lifecycles.

Natalie also has sub-topic boxes about Chinese New Year, Easter, and light and dark.

Price: pound;1 a day to hire (minimum hire half a term)
