RM will take over from Xemplar as the equipment supplier for Tesco’s highly successful Computers for Schools programme. In eight years 38,700 computers and 263,000 related items worth pound;54.4 million (pound;10.5 million in 1999 alone)have been given to more than 20,000 schools.RM will offer a greater range of equipment but Apple computers including iMacs will still be offered.
