Three people support ban on Muslim women wearing the veil in public places

* A BBC poll has found that one in three people would support a ban on Muslim women wearing the veil in public places, and over half would support a ban in the classroom. The ICM survey of 1,000 people found that a majority were in favour of prohibiting the veil in specific locations, such as schools and courtrooms, but that most opposed an all-out ban.
