A tip on rubbish

What codswallop from Kate Heasman, equality officer for the lecturers’

union Natfhe (TES, September 12). And what rubbish to say that “they” are against compulsory education for adult migrants. Why should the onus be on the long-suffering British taxpayers to provide translators for people who can’t or won’t learn the language of the host community but are content to claim the benefits it provides.

Who does she speak for? Not, I imagine, the majority of those whom she and Natfhe so ineffectively represent.
