Thousands of teachers have downloaded a recently discovered 1947 film full of tips on how to tackle pupil behaviour. The 13-minute clip, made in the US, shows trainee teachers how to deal with transgressions with humour, rather than agression. The 60-year-old film was discovered by academics at Northampton University, who run the behaviour management site Behaviour4Learning on behalf of the Training and Development Agency for Schools. The video is consistently the most popular resource on the site and some tips have been viewed up to 94 times.
