Employers need to change the way they think about training, the Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Minister says. “More companies are seeing the advantages of training but too many businesses still train too few staff,” Henry McLeish told last week’s National Training Awards ceremony in Glasgow.

One of the award-winners was Rathbone CI which works with problem pupils in East Ayrshire to develop vocational training and work experience options as alternatives to exclusion.
