Glasgow Science Centre has introduced a P4-7 workshop, “Get your teeth into this”, which allows children to become laboratory scientists learning about the types of teeth and their uses, including helping us talk, the importance of treating our teeth well, and how to make toothpaste. Also new for P4-5 is the workshop, “Minibeasts”, where children will examine minibeasts under the microscope, how to classify them into arthropods, molluscs and annelids, and handle a selection of Hissing Madagascan cockroaches, red wriggler worms and giant African land snails.
