A new guide for trainee teachers embarking on their first school placement went online this week. The nine-point plan, offering advice on issues including how to manage a parents’ evening, dealing with difficult colleagues and staying calm in front of a rowdy class, has been produced by the Teacher Support Network, a national charity.
