Non-specialist chemistry teachers are being invited to take part in a new training programme. The Royal Society of Chemistry and Science Learning Centres has designed the course to give teachers the confidence to teach chemistry at key stages 3 and 4.
The training will cover key concepts and will include demonstrations by teachers. It offers the chance to get hands-on experience of practical work that can be assigned to students.
The pound;120 courses consist of a two-day residential and two follow-up days at approximately one-term intervals, to be held at science learning centres around England. All participants will receive a pack including videos with animations and access to lesson materials online.
