Forget Beckham, what about Kingham?
When will we get things right in the UK? A football player is bought for pound;25 million yet heads have to apply for new jobs despite a glowing Office for Standards in Education report.
Is a footballer worth more than a headteacher? Should governors be able to “sell” their headteachers and balance their budgets that way? Would a good transfer fee mean more heads would move on therefore the quality of education improve?
Just an idea.
