IF you work with disruptive or disaffected children then the educational reform movement, Human Scale Education, could help. It is running a series of seminars around the country on working with troubled children.

HSE points out that the Government is committed to providing full-time education for all excluded children in specialist centres. There are about 1,000 learning support units and more are planned. HSE, the UK office of the European Forum for Freedom in Education, believes that small is best and it encourages large schools to find ways of restructuring into smaller units.
