In recent years it has become clear that information and communications technology can support composing, performing and music appraisal.
Adrian Pitts, a teacher at
Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls in Kent, is enthusiastic about these developments and has begun a research project on ICT in th 11-18s music curriculum.
He has received funding from the Teacher Training Agency for the one-year project and says that he aims "to identify strategies which teachers can use to raise pupil
