Dundee-based Nathan Coley, who is currently the artist-in-residence at the Lockerbie trial in Zeist, in the Netherlands, is one of five Scottish artists being featured in a Channel 4 series. “Express Yourself”, which started last week, aims to give nine to 12-year-olds a better understanding of contemporary art and sculpture.

Among other artists featured are Glasgow-based partners Iain Kettles and Susie Hunter, who create large-scale inflatable rabbits and sofas.

In each of the five programmes, showing on Fridays at 9.30-9.45am, Scottish children examine the featured artist’s work before producing their own innovative piece.
